Prices for the return of undeliverable items

Calculation guide

The prices charged for returning undeliverable items that the recipient has declined are determined by the type of delivery and the weight of the item.

Where the address is incorrect or incomplete, items are returned free of charge.

Return of A Mail items that the recipient has declined to accept

In cases where the recipient declines to accept an A Mail item, the charge for returning the item is based on the relevant A Mail rates, which in turn are determined by size and weight.

Surcharges

  • For special items, CHF 0.15
  • For standard letters over 20 mm and up to 50 mm thick, CHF 1.50 (this surcharge already includes the surcharge for special items)
