Conditions for DirectSelfmailers

Things to note

Certain conditions must be met to ensure that your DirectSelfmailers can be delivered correctly. The most important requirements at a glance:

Design

  • The specific design guidelines in the DirectSelfmailer factsheet (PDF) apply.
  • DirectSelfmailers may be a maximum of 5 mm thick.
  • The design guidelines for the address, coding and advertising areas must be complied with.
  • Response elements must not be visible in closed DirectSelfmailers.

Labelling

DirectSelfmailers sent by A Mail must be labelled with an A. No special labelling is required for any other mailing methods.

Franking

Only the PP impression applies as the postmark.

Mailing

Items must be mailed with a dispatch list for addressed domestic letters.

Acceptance points

  • All Swiss Post letter and logistics centres
  • Business customer counters in larger post offices
  • Special delivery conditions apply for OnTime Mail

B Mail individual items 50 items
B Mail bulk mailings 500 items
OnTime Mail 10,000 items
