Business to Business Swiss Post GLS

The specialists in business-to-business parcels

Swiss Post International has been offering logistics services for business-to-business goods shipments in partnership with General Logistics Systems (GLS) since 1998. These solutions round out the alternatives for sending goods abroad and offer new options for goods weighing up to 50 kg.

Swiss Post GLS offers you the following shipping options:

Single parcel – uncomplicated

All you need to do is prepare a commercial invoice for customs and attach the parcel slip to the parcel – and your shipment is ready for exporting.

Multiple Parcel Shipment (MPS) – efficient

You can send several parcels to the same recipient while only needing to prepare the customs documentation once. You simply identify the individual items on the parcel slip.

Echo Pack – reliable

Echo Pack is usually a three-way deal: order placed in country A, pick-up in country B, delivery in country A or C but not country B. The buyer (in country A) bears all the costs.

Consignments – the profitable option

A consignment is a single shipment containing a number of parcels destined for different recipients in the same country. This service can save you money from just two parcels per consignment and country, thanks to simplified customs clearance and individual price calculation. You must use a general importer in the destination country for the shipment.

Small Parcel – attractive price

The service on offer is basically the same as that for Consignment, but it is even more attractive in terms of price. It is especially suited to companies with smaller consignments of merchandise such as machine parts, tools or laboratory supplies. Each consignment must be no more than 2 kg in weight and 40 cm in length.

You can check on the progress of all consignments at any time using the Track & Trace facility.
