Marco Imboden, new Head of Communication

Marco Imboden is the new Head of Communication of Swiss Post. The current Head of Communication of the PostMail unit will succeed Dr. Daniel Mollet on 1 June 2012.

With the appointment of Marco Imboden, age 40, Swiss Post has chosen a manager with experience in strategic and operational communications work. After completing his studies in German and History at the University of Fribourg, Imboden joined the financial services company Zurich Financial Services Group in 2000 where he served in different positions. His responsibilities included communications for the Continental European division and later he headed communications for the Europe General Insurance area. In 2006, Imboden joined SR Technics Group, where in 2008, he became Vice President Corporate Communications with overall responsibility for internal and external public relations, marketing & communications, brand management and public affairs. At the end of 2010, Imboden became Head of Communication of PostMail, whose approximately 19,000 employees make it the largest Swiss Post unit. Marco Imboden is married and has two sons.

Marco Imboden will succeed Dr. Daniel Mollet on 1 June 2012. Swiss Post thanks Daniel Mollet for his valuable communications work and his great achievements in positioning Swiss Post. Under his management, Swiss Post Communication became more professional and was adapted to meet the demanding requirements placed on a public company in a competitive environment.
