What happens to your mail if you are away for a short or longer period of time? The “poste restante” order is a practical, uncomplicated option.

If you are away and unable to empty your letterbox or P.O. box, a “poste restante” order provides you with a cost-effective, secure solution. The post office you designate will retain your mail until you return. This means you can be sure that your mail is in good hands with confidentiality guaranteed. The order is valid for up to two months.

Please note: The registration process may take 2-3 days, as we have to verify your address by letter for security reasons.

Private customers can also issue forwarding orders over the phone. The service number to call is 0848 33 22 11. A credit card is required for this type of order. Our post offices will also be pleased to accept forwarding orders. Please make sure you bring along a valid form of ID.
