A Mail
Addressed mailings reach their recipients the next dayWhen posted on time, A Mail letters are received the next working day. A Mail letters are also delivered on Saturday. A Mail is also flexible and can be combined with different additional services such as e.g. A Mail Plus.
A Mail letters must be clearly identified as A Mail by the sender. Letters must be posted before the last postal collection for A Mail. When posted later, the following day is considered the day of posting.

Registered mail (Mon - Fri)
"Registered" A Mail is suited to important letters. Registered A Mail letters are only delivered against signature and provide legal proof of delivery. Registered mail can be combined with a return receipt, personal delivery and COD. Registered A Mail letters always require a sender. A Mail Plus (Mon - Sat)
A Mail Plus is an additional service for important mail that is delivered without a signature. In addition, Swiss Post guarantees a limited liability in the case of loss or damage. With electronic Track & Trace, you can check on the Internet where your A Mail letter is at all times - from posting to delivery. Return receipt (Mon - Fri)
When you send registered letters with a return receipt, you receive a written confirmation of when and to whom the letter was delivered. Further information can be found in the online brochure "Domestic Letters".
Personal delivery (Mon - Fri)
With the additional service "Personal delivery", Swiss Post delivers your A Mail letter exclusively to the person specified in the address. Further information can be found in the online brochure "Domestic Letters".
COD (Mon - Fri)
With the additional service "COD", your registered letter is handed over to the recipient only against payment. Further information can be found in the online brochure "Domestic Letters".
